RSL Queensland amplify the voices of veterans and their families, ensuring they are heard by decision-makers, and honour their service through meaningful commemoration.RSL Queensland's work is funded by Australia's most successful not-for-profit prize home lottery, the Dream Home Art Union, allowing it to grow their impact and support more veterans and their families across the state and nationally.About the OpportunityAs General Manager, Care & Coordination, you will lead a service portfolio designed to deliver high-quality, integrated, end-to-end care and navigation services for veterans and their families.Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, you will:Drive the delivery and continuous improvement of care coordination models and services.Enhance the Veteran & Family Wellbeing Centre (VFWC) network to ensure a consistent, professional, and connected experience.Lead innovation in service design and partnerships, ensuring outcomes that strengthen veteran wellbeing.Influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including government, Defence, ex-service organisations, and service providers.This is a pivotal senior leadership opportunity to transform veteran services and deliver tangible outcomes for those who have served our nation.About YouYou are a visionary leader with deep expertise in delivering complex human or clinical services across distributed networks.
With strong strategic acumen, you excel at building collaborative partnerships, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and driving service innovation.You are passionate about creating connected systems of care and ensuring veterans and their families receive the right services at the right time.
You bring exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders, and a commitment to service excellence.Key CriteriaTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, management, clinical, or social sciences.Significant senior leadership experience in health, Defence, or other large human services organisations.Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary teams and deliver outcomes through technology-enabled models.Expertise in strategic service design, change leadership, and innovation.Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage competing interests while maintaining trust.High-level financial and business acumen, with a proven record of managing budgets and resources effectively.A values-driven leadership style aligned with RSL Queensland's mission and commitment to veterans and their families.
