The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Design Drafter to join our Engineering Team.

You will work on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid including substations, grid connections, wind, solar and battery storage. Supporting the design and construction of our projects, you will deliver high quality results to meet standards and project deadlines and ensure drawings are consistent with client requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking, managing and producing high quality design artefacts, technical documentation and other work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards and in accordance with the project plans.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Design Drafter or similar
- Strong proficiency with the use of Auto CAD and/or Microstation
- Knowledge of power/electrical infrastructure development (e.g., substations, battery storage, grid connections, etc.)
- Ability interpret and implement design information provided by Primary Design Engineers, Civil Design Engineers and Design Managers
