Reporting to the GM of eCommerce, this role works cross-functionally with product, stock, marketing and web design teams to enhance product content, drive online sales and maximise conversion rates.
Key responsibilities include managing product catalogues, coordinating online promotions, analysing sales performance.
The eCommerce Specialist plays a pivotal role in responding to market trends and supporting the achievement of long-term digital growth strategies.About the role:Report on your brands sales performance in daily trade meetingsConduct regular competitive analysis on the best practices of key competitors and international ecommerce leadersProduce daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal reports as requiredCollaborate with brand and web design team on the email marketing plan with the goal of optimising appeal and conversionEnsure all products advertised on EDM's & Web Updates have adequate stock.Coordinate eDM material deadlines against and agreed schedule with brand & web design teamExecute promotional activities accurately and within deadlines to ensure websites are aligned with store activityDevelop and manage merchandising standards that drive conversion and improve the customer shopping experienceIdentify potential opportunities in product assortment based on knowledge of merchandise, sales, and customer behaviourDrive sales, conversion and revenue by effectively merchandising products helping customers navigate to the right products quickly and easilyManage an accurate and up-to-date online catalogue and ensure all products are ranged online as soon as they arrive into the business.Ensure products are merchandised daily according to brand online merchandising principlesManage & merchandise markdowns and outlet productsManage product titles and descriptionsCoordinate pre styling day with product teamsCreate & distribute photography run sheetResize, rename and batch upload primary and alt images & videosGuide and mentor eCommerce Coordinator as a SME for the TeamAbout you:Strong working knowledge of excelKnowledge of retail industry and relevant KPIsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective time management and prioritisation skillsAbility to easily adapt to changing prioritiesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong project management skillsPrevious experience in online or e-commerceWillingness to learnAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key functions within the businessProactive and has a sense of urgencyAbility to operate interdependentlyEnjoys working in a fast, lean, business orientated Brand functionBenefits to you:Generous team member discounts on all Myer products, including team-member exclusive discounts.Access to lifestyle leave and volunteer leave - arrange work around your life, not life around work.A supportive leadership and team network to set you up for success.Career growth and succession opportunities across the business.Here, you're not only an employee.
