The Company
Our client is a contemporary women's fashion label who are experiencing rapid growth. They are seeking an Ecommerce Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving their online sales performance.
This role is central to ensuring all elements of the brand's digital operations work seamlessly together—delivering timely and flawless execution of optimising product listings and managing the website experience. With SEO and CRO as top priorities, the ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate insights into improvements that enhance UX and CX across the site.
Responsibilities
PRODUCT LAUNCH & CONTENT UPLOAD
- Coordinate with the shoot team to align timelines with product launch schedules.
- Review imagery performance (conversion rate, page views) and provide feedback on required changes.
- Upload new products to the site in line with launch deadlines.
- Ensure all product descriptions meet company standards and follow SEO best practices.
CATEGORY & MERCHANDISING STRATEGY
- Merchandise all categories in line with the overarching strategy.
- Use reporting dashboards and Searchspring insights to recommend updates based on customer trends and trade plans.
WEB EXPERIENCE & OPTIMISATION
- Refine collection filters, attributes, and upsell opportunities, using competitor research and on-site behaviour to improve the shopping experience.
- Support the eCommerce Manager in UI/UX enhancements, collaborating with the development team to implement new menu structures, functionalities, and features.
DATA, REPORTING & INSIGHTS
- Assist the eCommerce Manager with weekly reporting, extracting actionable insights for the wider business.
- Set up and monitor A/B merchandising tests under the direction of the eCommerce Manager.
COLLABORATION & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
- Join development stand-up meetings to stay aligned on site optimisation initiatives.
- Participate in external partner meetings (where appropriate) to develop stakeholder management skills and broaden understanding of wider business operations.
About You
- 3+ years' experience in a similar eCommerce role.
- Ideally, experience in apparel or similar.
- Experience with Shopify or Klaviyo or similar.
- Ability to leverage data and present findings.
- You must have a strong sense of initiative.
- Experience in online product enrichment, online merchandising and website maintenance.
- Experience with analytical tools, SEO and CRO.
- Experience in A/B Testing.
- Strong attention to detail is critical.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented.
- Continuous improvement mindset; motivated to be aware of industry trends and share ideas, and support the broader team to achieve ongoing success.
- Resilient and adaptable to fast-changing priorities.
Other requirements
- You will be required in the office 4 x days per week, based in Melbourne inner city
