**MMG Rosebery**:
Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited.

With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. With a strong community focus and core values including safety and integrity, we are proud of our role in community development and our economic contribution to the local Tasmanian industry.

The operation continues to deliver excellent operational performance and employs over 500 employees and contractors who reside in the local region.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Superintendent - Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will lead a team of skilled tradespeople to maintain our surface plant and infrastructure to the highest standards. Your efforts will drive business success through safety and reliability.

- Experience in maintenance management
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Mining experience and a trade background (desirable)

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Develop effective plans to maintain fixed plant infrastructure, meeting annual targets and ensuring long-term asset integrity.
- Minimise maintenance costs by eliminating non-value-adding processes and maximising planned work.
- Understand cost drivers in concentrator and mine areas, implementing cost-saving ideas.
- Assist in developing the mill and concentrator maintenance budget to achieve annual plans.
- Manage expenditure within budget and forecast future maintenance needs.
- Build a collaborative team to achieve department availability and reliability targets.
- Establish strong processes for executing mechanical, electrical, and service requirements.
- Support planning and scheduling of production and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance planners and production personnel to approve weekly work plans and manage team capacities for forward planning.
