**Role Description**

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Feed Mill/Mixer Operator role located in the Greater Sydney Area Minchinbury. As a Feed Mill/Mixer Operator, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of animal feeds and production of suitable formulas by mixing appropriate feed ingredients. The role requires a highly motivated individual who has excellent communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ensure correct and accurate amounts of ingredients are used in each batch
- Must be reliable
- Reporting any problems in a timely manner to the mill manager
- Dispatch ingredients to correct silo or bins
- Load finished feed trucks.
- Need to document, weight, ration and destination
- Be able to operate the forklift
- Weekly stocktake of all ingredients
- Monitor feed quality Report and rectify any feed Spill
- Control& program batching systems to the required

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in feed milling or related industry
- Must have Cert III in Rural Operations (Feedlot) or equivalent qualification
- Knowledgeable on feed mixing, meeting feed quality standards, and preparation of raw materials for feed production purposes
- Ability to operate and maintain milling equipment, such as hammer mills, batch mixers and pellet mills, and to carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment in accordance with standard procedures
- Ability to perform in-process analysis to ensure product quality control
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be safety conscious, with knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.00 per week
