**The Opportunity**

BlueScope Building Components is looking for a **Logistics Lead** to join the **National Logistics and Supply Chain** team based in **Archerfield QLD** on a 12 month fixed term contract. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

Our team are based at our manufacturing site in Archerfield - we can offer flexibility with a hybrid arrangement (part office / part working from home).

**What Will You Do?**

As an experienced supply chain professional, you'll be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and our national branch network, you'll be running point on all our interactions with multiple logistics partners to:

- ** optimise the supply network** - develop and implement a supply network balances customer and market requirements with business performance
- ** streamlining and implementing efficient processes**- leverage technology platforms to enhance the sites operations and the experience for our internal and external customers
- ** relationship management**- effectively manage relationships with our key logistics vendors to facilitate complex supply chain requirements and commercial arrangements
- provide **coaching and mentoring**on supply chain best practice to our operations and functional team members
