**Junior Mortgage Broker**

Are you an accredited Junior Broker with a passion for the mortgage industry and a drive to excel? Join our team at Maher Group Finance, a brokerage firm offering an exciting opportunity for growth and advancement as part of a large financial services group. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a minimum Cert IV in Mortgage Broking qualification, preferably backed by 2 years or more of experience in commercial and residential lending.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing client relationships, assessing their mortgage needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Conduct thorough analysis of client financials to determine suitable lending options.

Liaise with lenders to negotiate favourable terms and conditions on behalf of clients.

Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for business growth and client acquisition.

Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting mortgage lending.

Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in mortgage broking.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum Cert IV in Mortgage Broking qualification, preferably diploma qualified.

Demonstrated experience in commercial and residential lending, preferably with 2 years or more in a similar role.

Accreditation with a recognised industry body (e.g., MFAA, FBAA) required.

Strong understanding of lending products, loan structures, and credit assessment processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and lenders.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ambitious and driven to succeed, with a desire to grow into an equity share partner role.
