Positive Wellness Recovery Centre is **a registered NDIS provider** that prides itself on its professional and diligent approach to giving support that is the best standard of service in the industry. We work alongside participants in formulating a goals-based approach strategy to their development, which is enshrined in their support plan. The disability support workers we hire will aim to assist participants to reach the goals set out in their plan to ensure they can develop to their full potential.

**Eligibility Criteria for disability support worker role**:

- Proof of right to work in Australia
- National police check
- Working with children's check (WWCC)
- NDIS worker's screening
- Certificate III and/or Certificate IV in Disability or Mental Health
- A current First Aid and CPR certificates
- 100 points of Identification
- Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is beneficial

**The role as a Disability Support Worker will include but not limited to**:

- Domestic assistance and community access
- Meal preparation and assistance
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work with clients with complex intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges
- Initiative and problem solving skills whilst providing care
- Be a team player and have a strong positive "can do" attitude

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
