If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you.
A lovely lady, living in her home, is seeking a volunteer visitor for conversation, friendship, a walk around the block or an outing to the local cafe. A positive minded lady, family oriented, who likes to attend Bible studies, reading and walking.
MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program - the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
We are seeking Volunteer Visitors in the Mornington area, for aged care residents and people living in their own home.
You need to be warm, caring, reliable, sociable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 6 months/ongoing.
MS Plus believes in a person to person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies. We look forward to hearing from you.
