SAPol Operations is a specialised vehicle fleet fitment branch and is committed to providing a first-class service to the South Australian Police and wider Government Services industry.

**The Position**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Administrator to join the team. This role is predominantly office based, but with some hands on, to support the branch in producing Police vehicles, ensuring that operations run effectively and efficiently. This role requires someone with an office administration skillset, plus a mechanical aptitude and/or automotive parts knowledge.

**What you will do**:

- Support the leadership of site operations
- Report and document all workshop activity relating to vehicle production
- Monitor performance levels to ensure the team is meeting volume and quality KPI's
- Liaise with our external/internal customers
- Enter all orders/pricing into our system and generate despatch notes and invoices
- Maintain computer-based information, data systems and inventory control
- Day to day administration tasks

**What you will bring**:

- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Prior experience working in the automotive industry
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to coach and develop others, monitor and measure performance to improve efficiencies
- Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Reliable and dedicated person with drive and energy

**Nice to have**:

- Automotive mechanical/ electrical capability
- Computer and analytical skills
- Car / motorbike service workshop or spare parts background
