**Your new role**:
As ILS Support Lead you are accountable for leading a team in designing and developing Support Solutions in accordance with contractual and Company requirements in order to achieve the required business outcomes
- Responsible for a team of analysts; manage day to day activities, review outputs and deliverables and manage budget/schedule
- Derive support solution requirements, define the test requirements and participate in design and requirements reviews
- Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum support solution against a set of requirements
- Develop optimised detail designs and present the designs in design reviews
- Undertake the integration and validation of the support design including contributing to the integration and validation plans and reports
- Undertake qualification activities and analysis of results. Also includes contributing to the qualification plans and reports.
- Undertake product change management and quality control processes.
- Utilise design capture and analysis tools effectively to produce high quality designs and products including interpretation of analysis results
- Utilise test tools effectively to undertake test, integration and verification including diagnosing problems and analysing results
- Undertake engineering activities within own competence without day to day guidance or supervision, including liaison with customers and suppliers as appropriate

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Diploma OR Formal trade or technical certificate qualification in Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams of technical authors, or other equivalent experiences with consideration to academic credentials.
- Logistics/Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) engineering skills and experience
- The ability to think creatively, challenge current processes and drive successful outcomes
- Experience with the Asset Management Planning System and familiarity with the Reliability Centered Maintenance process
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to produce technical reports

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
