**About the position**:
As part of the highly collaborative merchandising team, you will play a pivotal role to help support the Merchandise processes to drive systems and process improvement to enable productivity and efficiency within the merchandise team, which includes Retail and SupplyChain.
This role is key to continuous improvement of existing process and coaching the team on best practice processes, as well as being an SME in Planning systems and using current business data sources.
You will help maintain accurate, timely and efficient stock movements, improve stock turn and enable gross margin return on investment. You will maintain demand, supply and inventory management knowledge and ensure our customers have a positive shopping experience with in-stock product.
**Day to day responsibilities will include**:
- You will own the reporting suite and dashboards. Streamlining all reporting, audit, schedule and automate where possible
- Analyse and interpret Merchandise Planning KPI's and provide insights and recommendations on areas of opportunity and/or risk.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting to Group functions and stakeholders.
- Support the Merchandise Planning team by creating new and improving existing processes and key systems.
- Working closely with Merchandising & Supply Chain on end to end process improvements.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Process management experience within a fast paced retail environment
- Good commercial acumen
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Computer literacy and technical orientation with intermediate to advanced Excel and SQL
- A strong attention to detail and ability to drive outcomes under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Strong interpersonal skills and confident communicator
