Job details Traffic Controller$38 p/h + penaltiesVaried project locations across Newcastle, Maitland, the Hunter, Dubbo, and Central Plains regionsImmediate StartAbout the Role:WorkPac is currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Traffic Controllers to join our clients team on a long-term project.
This role offers the opportunity to work with an established civil and infrastructure contractor.What you will be doing:Set up, manage, and remove traffic control devices including cones, signs, and barriersSafely direct traffic using stop/slow batons and approved proceduresImplement and monitor Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) on-siteConduct pre-start safety checks, hazard assessments (SWMS/JSAs), and complete site documentationCommunicate effectively with crews, site managers, and relevant authoritiesEnsure strict compliance with workplace health and safety protocolsWhat you will need:Previous experience as a Traffic Controller preferred, but not essentialWhite CardCurrent Traffic Controller (TC) Yellow Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans (TMI) accreditation requiredStrong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliabilityAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner(*Note: Some applicants may hold the former Blue Card this is now covered under the TC Yellow Card system in NSW.)Whats in it for you?
