This full-time, Monday-to-Friday role is ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence and experienced in applying Lean principles to drive meaningful change.
As a Lean Coordinator, you'll play a key role in enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality across the organisation.
You'll lead initiatives such as 5S, visual management, problem-solving workshops, and process improvement projects.
Working closely with the engineering, quality, and production teams, you'll help optimise product and documentation flow while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Engineeting & Facilities Manager, your key areas of accountability include, but not limited to: Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
Facilitate and sustain 5S, visual management, and workplace organisation standards.
Coordinate and run problem-solving workshops (e.g., Kaizen, root cause analysis).
Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Map and optimise process flows for products and documentation.
Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the success of Lean initiatives.
Develop Standard work for processes across the site.
Train and coach employees in Lean tools and methodologies.
Ensure alignment of Lean activities with business objectives and compliance standards.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
QUALIFICATION Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred.
EXPERIENCE 2–4 years of experience in a continuous improvement, Lean, or process-focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred.
Demonstrated experience applying Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management).
Strong knowledge of process flow, standard work, and problem-solving techniques.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Lean/CI software or ERP systems.
