We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Macquaire Park. We work in a Hybrid arrangement with a minimum of two days in the office and the remainder at home.

**About The Role**

This is a fast-paced AP department, processing a high volume of invoices, expenses and queries, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating new vendors and maintaining existing vendor master data
- Reviewing, coding, and processing invoices and employee expenses;
- credit cards reconciliations;
- Prepare payment run proposals and review accuracy.
- Management of shared AP Mailboxes.
- Reviewing unassigned invoices and routing them to the correct departments/clinics for approval;
- Regular reconciliation of vendor accounts, with particular attention to large and wholesaler vendors.
- Supporting month-end preparations and booking of bank rec outstanding items.
- Ad Hoc project work and reporting as and when required.

**About You**
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated Accounts payable experience 2-5 years;
- Demonstrated strong teamwork and collaboration skills, communication skills (Written & verbal) and problem-solving skills;
- Be resilient and adaptable
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Be self-motivated, proactive and have a 'can do' attitude
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office package, particularly MS-Excel
- Experience in fast paced high volume accounts payable
- Experience using Pronto, Navision and/or SAP/Concur
- Experience with multi business/geographies-based companies, and familiar with NZ and AU GST and accounting requirements;
- A passion for customer service.
