McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Production Floor Manager at our Grading Floor facility in Pittsworth, QLD. Working closely with the Grading Floor Manager and 2IC, the Production Floor Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of the daily production plan in line with approved Quality Control standards.

**Daily duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Collaborate with the Grading Floor Manager and provide input into decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with the Production Planning/Logistics Manager, Production Team, Engineering Team, and Quality Control Team for seamless operations.
- Manage rosters, oversee hours of operation, and plan Client and SKU changeovers.
- Address and resolve production-related issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular reviews of staff performance and implement improvement plans as needed.

**About you**:

- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
- Proven experience in effectively motivating and managing a large team.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook, and industry-specific programs.
