A prominent role has emerged for a skilled Systems Engineering and Integration expert to spearhead our growing NSW-based team.
Description:
About the Role
This diverse position entails varying responsibilities, with key tasks including:
Developing training materials for the Metro and Rail Learning Academy.
Assuming leadership roles in Systems Engineering and Integration for Mott MacDonald and/or clients on major projects.
Coordinating with other disciplines and actively participating in market-facing business opportunities.
Creating Systems Integration strategies, plans, and roadmaps for project needs.
Providing expertise in Operational Readiness Frameworks development and implementation.
Offering subject matter expertise in Operational Safety and Assurance for argument development and capture.
Developing Test Stage and Systems Definitions.
Creating Operational, Maintenance, and Test Concepts.
Requirements
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to possess:
An inclusive leadership style.
Degree-level experience in delivering large, complex projects, specifically focusing on the right side of the V.
Demonstrable experience in integrating complex systems from unit level up to end-to-end integration.
Ability to oversee high-level project testing and commissioning strategy, prioritize testing, verify requirements, and coordinate personnel and equipment.
Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and concepts, including operations, systems assurance, safety, and their relationships with integration, testing, and commissioning.
Proficiency in using IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management is highly desirable.
Knowledge of CBTC and/or ETCS operation is also desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate progress and issues at all levels of the organization.
