**About the role**:
As the first Product Marketing Manager at RecordPoint, you'll drive and define the go-to-market strategy for our products and features. You'll work with the Product and Marketing teams to define a winning buyer's journey and create messaging, content, and sales enablement tools supporting product launches, sales efforts, and marketing campaigns.
It's a 'greenfields' opportunity in a business ripe for fresh ideas, with a market-leading product disrupting the traditional records management industry.
**Responsibilities & Activities**
- Develop our go-to-market playbook and craft messaging and positioning for our product to ensure differentiation on the market
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, launch new products and services, and drive ongoing awareness and education programs.
- Conduct ongoing research to gain insights into customer's usage, feature feedback, buyers personas, product pricing and untapped opportunities through interviews, surveys, focus groups, product and sales data.
- Research the market landscape and collect competitive intelligence to benchmark product capabilities and develop an effective product positioning strategy
- Translate clear and compelling customer pain points, value propositions, and competitive differentiation into positioning and messaging for various verticals and personas.
- Deliver our value proposition and product demonstrations at internal and external conferences and customer briefings
- Generate customer case studies and other collateral to support marketing and sales initiatives, and guide communication efforts across multiple audiences and channels
**Knowledge, skills and abilities required**:
- **Demonstrated success in a product marketing role within a technical B2B SaaS environment**:
- Ability to manage complex / cross-functional projects and shift quickly between multiple priorities
- Exceptional writing -, communication -, and storytelling skills to deliver helpful and interesting content
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and can communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be able to collaborate and influence multiple teams across the business without formal authority. This will often include, but is not limited to, the Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams.
- Strong customer empathy to understand what our customers and the market need
- Familiar with various qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques, such as surveys, customers insights, product data, etc to gain deep insights into customer needs and experiences
- An entrepreneurial and execution mindset focused on delivering results.
- Drive to gain a deep understanding of how our customers, our product, and our channels to market.
