In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, developing, and growing our customer base by reaching out to existing Medtronic Patients and end users, promoting a range of leading-edge medical devices within Queensland territory.
Additionally, you\u2019ll actively contribute to driving new patient growth through proactive engagement with New Patient Leads.This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business.
Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements.
This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility.
As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.ResponsibilitiesSelling Medtronic's products and ensuring the retention of end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts, while striving to meet predefined sales targetsProactively identifying, nurturing, and closing leads for the business, both internally generated and external, while also facilitating the referral of internal leads to appropriate channelsOffering valuable insights on potential new markets, as well as providing feedback on new product launches and enhancements to existing products or suppliesPromoting and fostering educational efforts to enhance understanding and appreciation of the company's products and servicesCollaborating with field sales representatives to strategise and execute sales activities effectively, including conducting sales calls, analysing data, identifying customer opportunities, coordinating product demonstrations, and ensuring prompt follow-up with sales representativesRequired Knowledge and ExperienceA bachelor's degree is required, a degree in Nursing, general Science or Business is desirableMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in field sale, inside sales or sales support/administration within the medical devices, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirableUnderstanding of Type I Diabetes is desirableExperience working with SalesForce or similar CRM system is advantageousStrong verbal and written communication skillsConfident ability in making multiple outbound phone sales calls on a daily basisAbility to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships at all levelsGood understanding customer needs and requirementsComputer proficiency including MS Office suite of softwarePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
