**Working at Atlassian**
**Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it's necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.**
Atlassian is looking for Program Managers to boost the effectiveness of our transformation, operations, and platform teams. As Program Manager, you'll lead important technical programs, champion delivery success, and operationalise product development processes to make our delivery hum with effectiveness.
Program Managers at Atlassian strive to be experts in three main pillars: Program Delivery, turning Strategy to Action, and delivering Organisational Excellence. They build trusted networks, seek clarity and deliver complex cross-functional programs as seamlessly as single team projects. Like air traffic controllers they guide the safe, orderly, and swift flow of initiatives at Atlassian, supporting a variety of teams, both technical and non-technical.
**Your future team**:
Our Program Management vision is to catalyse Atlassian's growth through delivery excellence. Your role will be to implement the most important and complex Atlassian programs, allowing the organisation to optimise flow of value through delivery best practices, systems, and tools.
You'll report to one of our Group Program Managers; and partner with leaders, and teams relevant to your programs. We have multiple opportunities partnering with our Cyber, IT Solutions, Data Management Platform, Ecosystem Platform, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud Product Editor teams.
**What you'll do**:
- Run priority programs, to influence the success of the Program's strategy.
- Communicate impact across teams, functions and programs - ensuring broad understanding of status, risks, dependencies, and insights.
- Ensure the teams you work with are planning and setting the right goals, and implementing those goals following good tracking and standardised reporting methods.
- Use change management techniques to ensure the mindset shift, adoption, and sustained improvement initiated by the change the program is driving.
- Build and monitor team health to ensure teams are working well together, create team spirit, and contribute to a shared understanding of goals.
**Your background**:
- Minimum 5 years recent relevant experience, in a similar Project / Program Manager position; including complex Agile, software or platform related programs.
- You've managed projects from end to end - strategy through to delivery phases; and understand SDLC.
- You have experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, and are able to draw upon best practices, patterns and Agile frameworks to build pathways for teams.
- Experience working with dispersed, cross functional, technical and non-technical teams; which ideally include design, product, and engineering teams.
- Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you have previous experience working for a large enterprise, and strong knowledge of change management components and principles.
Does this sound exciting to you? You might be the person we're looking for.
