**Disability Support Worker position(s) are currently available in Young NSW. The positions involve flexible shifts, including being willing to do weekend work, public holidays, split shifts and sleepovers.**

**Tertiary students studying nursing or another relevant field are encouraged to apply.**

**We value experience, but it is not necessary. Above all we are looking for people who can be adaptable and engaged in caring for the NDIS participants they will work with. People who will understand and patiently help clients to solve their challenges and problems.**

**This includes**:

- **Help at around the home: Assisting with housekeeping, meal preparation and pastimes**:

- **Personal Care: Help with showering and getting dressed**:

- **Transport: Getting to appointments or going on shopping trips**:

- **Social and wellbeing: Encouraging social connectedness through conversation, outings and healthy living activities**:

- **Documenting and reporting on shifts, incidents etc. through our online platform (training provided)**

**Required**:

- **Australian/International Driver's Licence**:

- **A reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance**:

- **Current First Aid and CPR certificates.**:

- **COVID-19 Training Certificates**:

- **Vaccinated for Covid-19**:

- **Excellent oral and written communication skills**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $34.60 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
