**About us & the Role**

Pearl Home Care Murrumbidgee is a locally owned and operated Aged and Disability care provider supporting the Murrumbidgee area. We are looking for Aged and Disability care workers in and around Young who want to make a difference in peoples lives, who truly love their job, are committed with a great attitude, are willing to learn new things, and most importantly, listen and understand what the individual wants.

Pearl Home Care Murrumbidgee offers above award rates, supports ongoing training and provides a vibrant and supportive working environment.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance and support to consumers in their daily activities.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability Support or relevant qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and commitment to maintaining consumer confidentiality.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a care setting.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or in the care industry.
- Experience working with diverse client groups (e.g., elderly, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
- Additional relevant certifications or training (e.g., Manual Handling, Medication Administration, etc.).

**Willingness to obtain**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (_upon employment if successful_)
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Drivers Licence
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
