Overview:
A-Cru Slurry Engineering is an Australian owned and operated consulting company with offices in Perth and Brisbane. Our goal is to provide high-value engineering services to the mining industry in the field of slurry preparation and transport/handling.

We are looking for a Civil and Architecture Draftsperson to join the team. This role will focus on the development of high-density tailings pipelines, long-distance concentrate pipelines, as well as slurry processing (thickening/filtration) plants and material handling/conveyor systems. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Perth.

Main tasks:

- Provide slurry pipeline systems drafting services by preparing engineering sketches, charts, models, plans, designs and technical specification reports.
- Prepare 3D models for slurry pump stations and ancillaries.
- Prepare pipeline alignment drawings and technical specifications.
- Select and utilise a range of procedures and equipment as per work assignment guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor draftsmen.
- Follow work specifications, regulations and contract requirements to ensure finished works are accordingly aligned.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- A relevant Diploma-level qualification in Civil Engineering or Architectural design.
- Overall background in drafting and/or engineering sciences.
- Expertise in CAD systems, including MicroStation.
- Experience in slurry pipeline systems and pump station designs, within a range of drafting disciplines such as mechanical, piping, civil and structural is desirable.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Ability to work independently and unsupervised, as well as under pressure.
- Sound written/oral communication skills.
- Sufficient technical and on-the-job competencies.
- Good work ethic and time management skills.
