About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning and organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plans, regulations and codes of practice.
  • Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare, edit and revise plans, maps, charts and drawings.
  • Coordinate works programs.
  • Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards.
  • Calculate costs and estimate time scales.
  • Collect data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment.
  • Perform routine computations and plot preliminary data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson.
  • Experience in site measuring.
  • Solid knowledge of metal fabrication parts.
  • Developing high-precision 3D models using BIM software.
  • Medium-High level of Excel skills.
  • Experience in assisting Construction managers.
  • Prefer 5 years+ experience.
  • Experience in assisting Architects and Surveyors in planning and organising preliminary sketches.
  • Desirable industry experience within the architectural, industrial, structural and mining divisions.
  • Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Punctual and honest.
