Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.To learn more about our care home please visit:Bupa Campbelltown | Nursing Homes AdelaideBenefits of BupaSupportive, collaborative, and caring team cultureContinual learning and development opportunitiesFlexible shifts to suit your lifestyle and family commitmentsOn the job trainingGreat employee discounts and benefitsAbout the RoleTo deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundryUse your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.About youPrevious catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.DutiesMaintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standardsComplete required documentation and reportingRespond to residents' queries and requestsLaundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linenCatering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashingCleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents'rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areasSkills and ExperienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCleaning or catering experience preferred but not essentialFlexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the weekYou willhave an understanding ofwork health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
