**About the Division of Medical Services**:
The Rheumatology, Dermatology and Clinical Pharmacology units all sit within Austin Health's Medical Services Division. This is a critical operating branch of the health service, managing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. The specialty units are comprised of senior medical, junior medical, nursing, and scientific staff. In addition to clinical management, the units are actively involved in teaching, training, and research.
**About the role**:
We are seeking a confident and experienced administrator, able to support multiple units at a local level, whilst contributing to the broader Divisional priorities as part of our friendly and busy team.
A regular day will see you:
- Provide general secretarial support to the Departments of Rheumatology, Dermatology and Clinical Pharmacology as directed by the respective Head of Unit
- Perform billing/invoicing
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes
- Rosters and timesheets
- Assist with outpatient clinic templates and related functions
- Further duties as listed in position description
**About you**:
Ideally, you'll be:
- Administrative all rounder with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Highly organised and able to support the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communicator, exercising discretion and good personal judgement
- Flexible with an ability to adapt to different duties in a changing environment
