This full-time permanent position is based in our new Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay.
The OpportunityReporting to the Engineering Manager (Subsea Services), this role will provide general engineering and managerial support to the Subsea Services engineering division and support the safe planning and execution of project work, the development and submission of tenders and guide and mentor more junior engineers to assist in skill and knowledge development.
Your day to day may include: Leveraging your experience to provide expert project and design engineering support and leadership to a range of coastal, offshore, and subsea engineering (SURF), installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, stabilisation and operation scopes, in the oil and gas and renewables sectors in Australia, NZ, SE Asia, the Middle East and across the globe.
Work with the Engineering Manager & Project Managers to define the engineering work needed to be conducted for projects.
Assign day to day engineering design tasks to Project and Graduate Engineers and Designers to meet varied project and internal engineering requests and monitor progress against schedules and deadlines.
Develop and review engineering deliverables generated within the discipline, ensuring they are to a high professional standard and in accordance with MMA and Client's technical, quality and safety requirements.
When offshore or on site, be a leader for safety and act as a source of technical knowledge, support, and oversight to ensure that the operations are conducted safely and as intended.

Qualifications Degree qualified to Bachelor or Masters level in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, Naval or similar engineering discipline) Essential Experience 7+ years of relevant experience in the offshore / subsea industry (including SURF scopes of work) Relevant experience in a similar role / project environment Demonstrable analytical capabilities Exposure to subsea inspection, maintenance and construction operations.
(highly desirable) Desirable Qualifications BOSIET, CA-EBS and MSIC.
