About the Position
We are seeking keen workers to join our Narrogin-based hay processing site. Although this may start as a casual role, there is potential for permanent employment for committed staff. We process and export animal fodder to markets including Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan. Positions available include:
Hay Press Operators:
no experience necessary
Mobile Plant Operators:
must hold a valid forklift ticket
Responsibilities:
Operating the Hay Press
Inventory management
Maintaining a clean work area
Cutting strings on raw product
Assisting with production as required
To be successful in this role:
Hold a forklift ticket (essential)
Live locally to Narrogin (preferably)
Previous experience in agriculture, especially with hay, is advantageous
Understanding of quality assurance
Experience with health and safety protocols in the workplace
Experience supervising a small team
Excellent communication skills
