About the Position

We are seeking keen workers to join our Narrogin-based hay processing site. Although this may start as a casual role, there is potential for permanent employment for committed staff. We process and export animal fodder to markets including Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan. Positions available include:

  • Hay Press Operators: no experience necessary
  • Mobile Plant Operators: must hold a valid forklift ticket

Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Hay Press
  • Inventory management
  • Maintaining a clean work area
  • Cutting strings on raw product
  • Assisting with production as required

To be successful in this role:

  • Hold a forklift ticket (essential)
  • Live locally to Narrogin (preferably)
  • Previous experience in agriculture, especially with hay, is advantageous
  • Understanding of quality assurance
  • Experience with health and safety protocols in the workplace
  • Experience supervising a small team
  • Excellent communication skills
