About the Position
We are seeking keen workers to join our Narrogin-based hay processing site. Although this may start as a casual role, there is potential for permanent employment for committed staff. We process and export animal fodder to markets including Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan. Positions available include:
- Hay Press Operators: no experience necessary
- Mobile Plant Operators: must hold a valid forklift ticket
Responsibilities:
- Operating the Hay Press
- Inventory management
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Cutting strings on raw product
- Assisting with production as required
To be successful in this role:
- Hold a forklift ticket (essential)
- Live locally to Narrogin (preferably)
- Previous experience in agriculture, especially with hay, is advantageous
- Understanding of quality assurance
- Experience with health and safety protocols in the workplace
- Experience supervising a small team
- Excellent communication skills
