Specialising in **Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition**, you will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR strategies that meet our organisational growth and talent management strategy. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this role will play a critical role in attracting talent, enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention and supporting our key strategic pillars in our growing organisation.

**About the Role**

As an experienced HR professional, you will manage employee relations issues fairly and consistently, including conflict resolution and mediation, and provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective employee relations practices. Additionally, you will enhance employee engagement through initiatives and programs that address employee concerns, lead our engagement survey, conduct regular meetings and focus groups to gather feedback to distill trends and key opportunities to develop our employee value proposition.

As a future-focused and technically proficient HR Professional, a key part of this role will be supporting the future growth and workforce planning across NTAQ which will include a digital transformation of the P&C functions. This will include supporting the acquisition and engagement of a HRIS and upgraded ATS to digitise the employee experience and identify and implement technology-enabled solutions to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency. You will use your creative thinking, to work with marketing to develop employee brand identity and optimise website to attract talent.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a the same level role in a diverse and dynamic organisation and be a motivated HR professional who is able to deliver highly effective people engagement strategies within a Tourism environment. Other key skills we are looking for include;
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of driving results and implementing innovative HR solutions.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and employer branding.
- Technical capability and good knowledge of HRIS implementation desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, HRIS, and timekeeping software/platforms.
