ING Australia is seeking to appoint a
Financial Crime Compliance Manager
specializing in retail banking advisory to join our 2nd line financial crime advisory team.
Reporting to the
Senior Compliance Manager FCC Advisory
, you will help the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team meet local and global regulatory obligations. The role requires strong analysis, writing, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills. The FCC function encourages creativity, enabling innovative approaches to compliance challenges.
This role is suitable for a financial crime professional with experience in a 2nd line advisory capacity, guiding the business to meet Australian AML/CTF laws and global policies while supporting strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Retail, KYC Centre of Excellence, and KYC Operations to ensure compliance with AML/CTF laws and global policies, supporting strategic goals.
Provide accurate, timely advice to the retail business, KYC teams, and support compliance activities like RSCAs and PARPs.
Implement and oversee adherence to ING's global FCC policies and local AML/CTF programs.
Promote and sustain a strong compliance culture across the organization.
Review AML/CTF-related complaints and referrals, coordinating resolutions and advising on responses.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 8 years' experience in financial services, specifically AML activities in retail banking, with some experience in business or wholesale banking FCC advisory preferred.
Strong research and problem-solving skills related to complex FCC issues.
Degree or ongoing studies in accounting, commerce, finance, law, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with negotiation and adaptability abilities.
