OverviewCleansing Services Officer – Afternoon Shift at City of Parramatta.
The role involves providing self-managed cleansing services to maintain and improve Parramatta's public domain, enhancing the cleanliness and appearance of the city and promoting Parramatta as Australia's next great city.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify illegal dumps, litter picking, pressure washing, amenities and BBQ cleaning within the public domain.Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the team
0care.Undertake inspections of the public domain and assets to minimise Council's exposure to liability.Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:30pm.About You / QualificationsCurrent NSW C Class Driver's LicenceWhite CardPrevious experience working in an operational roleThe capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the roleAbility to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to work independentlyWhat's On Offer / BenefitsRemuneration from $65,814 to $72,473 plus 12% SuperannuationAllowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, including the Adverse Working Conditions Level AllowanceLearning and development opportunitiesHealth and wellbeing programs9-Day FortnightFree onsite parking & onsite gymSignificant leave benefits: 3 additional leave days at Christmas, 15 days sick/personal leave including 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year14 weeks paid parental leaveAccess to Long Service Leave after 5 yearsSelection Process & RequirementsThis position may require a Pre-Employment Medical Check, which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
