Overview

Cleansing Services Officer – Afternoon Shift at City of Parramatta. The role involves providing self-managed cleansing services to maintain and improve Parramatta's public domain, enhancing the cleanliness and appearance of the city and promoting Parramatta as Australia's next great city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify illegal dumps, litter picking, pressure washing, amenities and BBQ cleaning within the public domain.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the team
    0care.
  • Undertake inspections of the public domain and assets to minimise Council's exposure to liability.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:30pm.

About You / Qualifications
  • Current NSW C Class Driver's Licence
  • White Card
  • Previous experience working in an operational role
  • The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently

Selection Process & Requirements

This position may require a Pre-Employment Medical Check, which includes a Drug and Alcohol test. The City of Parramatta supports a Drug and Alcohol-free working environment and employees may be subject to random testing.
