Bar Margaux, part of Made in The Shade family of The Everleigh alumni, is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Venue Manager who's oozing energy, sophistication and has the appetite to assist and support in creating an intoxicating experience from the dinner table to the bar and into the early hours.

Bar Margaux:
With a menu built on French bistro classics, an extensive wine list and a curated cocktail menu to rival the most discerning of drinkers' palates, Bar Margaux is home to everyone searching for spectacular food and exceptional customer service mixed with Melbourne's love affair for late night haunts.
We are looking for someone who will thrive off a busy environment, understands the simple perfection of a classic cocktail and likes the best tartare in town (in our humble opinion), someone who is a natural leader within hospitality and is passionate about providing the unparalleled customer service experience.
Who we are looking for:
To be well equipped for success within Bar Margaux we will provide all the leadership and support from our Senior Leadership Team, however, the successful Venue Manager will need a few French tricks up their sleeve:
- An inspirational and hands-on leader whose passion is to nurture and drive our aspirational and growing team with the ability to positively impact the venue culture. You must be someone who is able to embody our ethos: People Before Drinks
- Experienced in all facets of venue operations including menu costing, stock control and labour management
- A talent for multi tasking and problem solving - having the ability to reach into your knowledge tool box and be solutions focused
- Communication is essential to be successful within this venue - in part with this you will need to be confident, organised, and thoughtful within you communication style
- A strong work ethic - knowing what it takes to be an all round hospitality professional, both inside and outside the venue, with the drive to becoming an influential figure within the Made in the Shade Group and the industry
- We want you to have that creative soul that's craving excellence and can inspire those around you. You will need to have the skills and ability to effectively build and develop relationships, within the front of house and back of house teams, able to manage performance on a day to day basis whilst promoting a friendly, respectful, positive and approachable attitude
