This role will act as the interface for disaster and resilience across the business ensuring that the Global IT Service Continuity processes and functions are governed, managed, and delivered.

- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive disaster preparedness plans, policies, and procedures to ensure business readiness for potential disasters or emergencies.- Develop and deliver training to educate technology and business stakeholders on disaster preparedness, response, and recovery procedures. Ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively during a disaster-level event.- Define, develop, and implement fit for purpose recovery classification scheme.-
- Manage and report on the end-to-end Service Continuity processes to meet regulatory and business requirements.- Collaborate with service owners to develop and test disaster recovery plans (DRPs) and manage the execution of those plans.- Manage and maintain Disaster Recovery exercise schedule.- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure new initiatives/projects meet business and IT recovery levels to ensure that new and ongoing projects sustain the level of recoverability consistent with business objectives.- Define, develop, and implement the Disaster Resilience strategy and principles across Perpetual in line with best practise.
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or experience working in an equivalent role.- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.- Strong knowledge of disaster resiliency principles, best practices, and regulations.- Experience in developing and implementing disaster preparedness plans, policies, and procedures.- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage response efforts.- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in high stress situations.-
- Experience in operating on a critical path, managing, and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships both technology and business.- Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.- Critical thinker, with strong problem-solving and consulting skills
