There is no prerequisite for entry into the course and a tutor is available to support the study component.
The trainee will work within multidisciplinary teams on rotations within inpatient, residential and community teams of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Service.
The trainee will be supported to complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) degree at Charles Sturt University via distance education including two week-long residential intensives per annum.
On completion of the program, trainees will be eligible to become mental health professionals of the health service's multidisciplinary mental health teams.

Your New Division The Mental Health & Wellbeing Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment area in Victoria stretching from Swan Hill in the north of the state to Gisborne in the south.
