We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the QA team at our Allen's Broadford Factory. The QA Coordinator will lead the quality improvements for the site, by promoting the quality culture, striving for zero defects, and executing plans to optimise the cost of non-quality.

**A day in the life
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team passionate about ensuring a strong quality culture at our Broadford site. Key responsibilities include:

- Drive the Quality Pillar to deliver step change improvements in defects and waste. Be the sites Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Quality Pillar tools & methodologies
- Be responsible for routines and tools used for analysing Quality Loss data (including waste, rework & defects). Lead the analysis of data & drive process improvements to eliminate the losses
- Train and coach the Local Leadership Team and employees on the interpretation of quality data to drive improvements and ensure effective delivery of quality activities
- Be responsible for driving the review of the Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS) across the site, ensuring input from all key stakeholders
- Actively participate in continuous improvement, delivering to the requirements outlined in the methodology and strengthening Quality and Food Safety Systems
- Ensure the use and success of structured root cause analysis after incidents relating to product quality, or the quality systems, have occurred. Put in place preventative measures to avoid recurrence of defects
- Optimise the quality processes by driving digitalisation of quality in manufacturing
- Be responsible for the Sensory program to ensure compliance to the Sensory Standards, including training, VQS update, sensory risk assessments, and execution of the verification panels. Support the rollout and execution of the On-Line Sensory program
- Be responsible for the calibration and monitoring of on-line and off-line monitoring instruments used for measurement of quality parameters across the site

**As a passionate advocate for quality, you will engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business to influence and positively reinforce the sites continuous improvement agenda and quality strategy. Utilising your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, autonomy and self-drive, you will challenge the ways of working to help enhance and improve the factory's quality culture and ownership.

You will have a Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Engineering, or related field of study. Experience within the food manufacturing industry will be strongly regarded.

A compliance/continuous improvement/problem solving mindset will see you succeed in this role.
