Job Opportunity in Intensive Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our ICU team.
This is a key role that involves developing, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement and nursing practice initiatives. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure best practices and patient-centered outcomes.
Clinical Risk Management:
Lead strategies to minimize risks and improve patient safety.
Clinical Advice and Leadership:
Provide expert advice and act as a role model for the team.
Nursing Practice Initiatives:
Evaluate current practices, develop policies and protocols, foster a culture of learning and research, and oversee application of National Standards.
The successful candidate will have:
Advanced Critical Care Expertise:
Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse with advanced critical care expertise.
Leadership Ability:
Proven ability to guide and motivate a team in quality improvement, research, and risk management activities.
Implementation and Research Skills:
Capability to implement changes and develop clinical directions through planning and research.
This is a permanent, full-time day position working 76 hours per fortnight. Salary is aligned with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
