Executive Manager, Technology Risk

**How will I help?**

Step into a specialised role within our Technology Risk team and become a key player in overseeing and challenging technology risks across the Group. As a senior member, you will independently navigate complex risk landscapes and serve as the primary point of contact for Technology Risk across key business units.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide challenge and oversight of Technology issue and incident management, including the reporting on 1st line issues and incidents.
- Review and challenge the effectiveness of the Technology control environment, including working with Assurance teams to ensure effective remediation plans are in place
- Lead thematic reviews of targeted technology risk areas within a domain
- Deliver insights, and recommendations based on lessons learned and potential risk impacts discussed both internally and across the industry, particularly from external influences and peer learnings
- Oversee the technology-related scenario analysis program, including input into the refresh process and providing review and commentary on relevant cross-industry external loss data. Foster a risk culture where risk awareness and consideration are integral to day-to-day business decisions
- Contribute to the Divisional CRO Report to Risk Committees.
- Review CIO Report and/or the Divisional CRO Report to the Risk Committee, as required
- Work with 1st line Business Controls & Monitoring teams, support the review of risk profiles.
- Help raise awareness and understanding of risk and control concepts and their relevance to strategic and operational business activities
- Provide insights into emerging technology risks

**What do I need?**

You will possess profound and extensive experience in technology risk advisory and management within financial services/ consulting. Your expertise should encompass a comprehensive understanding of technology risk frameworks, providing strategic guidance and mitigating risks within complex technological landscapes.

Certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) are also essential.

You will demonstrate exceptional business writing skills, adeptly translating complex risk concepts into clear, actionable business language. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to engage effectively with executive stakeholders, ensuring that critical risk information is understood and acted upon at the highest levels.
