**Description**:
The Opportunity

The Human Resources Department are seeking a Talent Partner to join their Team. This is a Permanent Full-Time position and you will be based at our Newcastle West Office.

About the Role

Key Tasks
- Manage the classification process of new positions
- Manage/coordinate the recruitment process for all agencies within the Diocese including pre
- assessments, shortlisting, interviews, job offers, and compliance checks
- Build on a positive employee brand for all agencies of the Diocese
- Develop talent strategies based on labour market through a broad range of channels for attracting talent, including job boards, social media, internships/cadetships, career fairs, community networks/events
- Analyse market recruitment development and trends in order to take timely and appropriate action to ensure optimal alignment of the recruitment strategy and market situation
- Oversee the on boarding process with the hiring manager to ensure that new employees have been successfully orientated into the business

**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience/Criteria
- Experience classifying positions against awards and enterprise agreements
- Ability to accommodate workflow increases during peak recruitment periods
- Ability to juggle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and problem solve
- Ability to engage, inspire, influence, coach and deliver
- Experience in implementing recruitment strategies and plans
- In depth knowledge and understanding of best practice recruitment, talent sourcing and searching
- Solid working knowledge of contemporary talent acquisition practices and processes and awareness of emerging trends
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated understanding of change management and ability to personally adapt to a changing environment
- A high level of professionalism, confidentially, and the ability to personally adapt to a changing environment
- General financial acumen and excel knowledge

**Qualifications**:

- A tertiary qualification in Recruitment and/or Human Resources or a related degree OR strong experience within HR in a customer focused industry
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Registered member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) (Desirable)
- LinkedIn Recruiter Certification (Desirable)
