Longtrail Farms is currently looking for a Irrigation Manager to join our team located in Parilla, Southern Mallee.
This key full time role will be responsible in managing the smooth running and maintenance of our overall water infrastructure.

Birthday morning teas, Friday night knock offs, field day trips.About the Role:This is a genuinely hands-on position with leadership responsibility.
You'll oversee the maintenance and performance of our pivot irrigation systems ranging from 28 to 50 hectares in size with pumping systems between 50L-90L/second, coordinate water planning with the cropping and livestock teams, and ensure systems run smoothly - after hours and rostered some weekend work will apply depending on watering needs, particularly over summer.
Be part of the next wave of technology upgrades - including expanding our variable rate capabilities and introducing smart, energy-efficient watering solutions.
As a member of the farm's leadership team, you'll contribute to weekly leadership meetings and take part in monthly planning meetings with the executive team, helping shape operational direction and priorities.
You'll be responsible for tracking water usage and recording key data in our farm systems.
