**About the role**
The Community Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for optimising, growing and executing THRF Group's peer-to-peer fundraising program. The role maintains and builds strong relationships with community members and corporates, with the aim to increase the number of supporters and achieve brand awareness and fundraising outcomes for THRF Group.
The Community Fundraising Coordinator assists the Corporate and Community Engagement team in successfully implementing results-driven short and long-term tactics to achieve THRF Group's brand awareness, engagement, and income development objectives in line with the Strategic Plan. This is done through employing best-practice fundraising and friend-raising events, whilst highlighting our impact in the community.
**Role responsibilities include**:
- Retain & grow current peer-to-peer fundraising income stream by nurturing existing and new fundraising enquires, maintaining and building relationships with external fundraisers for THRF Group including community groups, workplaces and individuals.
- Build awareness of THRF Group and its mission with individuals, corporate groups, clubs, community groups, schools and other potential sources of fundraising income.
- Manage monthly processing and reporting of the THRF Group's third-party fundraising platforms
- Maintain and record fundraising and engagement activity utilising Microsoft Dynamic CRM
- Research and develop new ideas and embrace current concepts in Community Fundraising
- Provide event support and materials as required, including developing fundraising and marketing collateral briefs within THRFG brand guidelines
- Maintain a great working relationship and interface with key stakeholders, volunteers, staff and the general public.
- Some out of hours work (including weekends) and travelling will be required, however time off in lieu will be negotiated
**About you**
To be successful in the role you will ideally have;
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign would be an advantage
- Knowledge of community/peer-to-peer fundraising activities would be an advantage
- Experience in and/or knowledge of the ethos of the not for profit industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in events or administration support
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines within tight timeframes.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised, co-ordinate and prioritise work. The ability to work with collaboratively with team members and positively contribute to the culture of our organisation.
