About Fundraising Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with donors, raising funds through key strategic elements, and promoting the value proposition of Baptist Care SA.

  1. The Fundraising Coordinator will identify, research, and execute new fundraising events and initiatives to complement existing strategies.
  2. They will lead and implement digital media and direct mail campaigns, preparing fundraising materials such as brochures, information sheets, donor newsletters, and website pages.
  3. Maintaining and updating data entry into CRM (Salesforce) for the Fundraising Department is also a key responsibility.
  4. The role involves developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships to foster financial and goods-in-kind donations.
  5. Collaborating with team members to improve service outcomes for clients and employees is also an important aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities

The Fundraising Coordinator will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and executing new fundraising events and initiatives
  • Leading digital media and direct mail campaigns
  • Preparing fundraising materials
  • Maintaining CRM data entry
  • Developing stakeholder relationships
About You

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, a passion for the mission of Baptist Care SA, and attention to detail.

  • You should have three to five years' experience in fundraising or a similar field.
  • Fundraising donor appeals experience is also desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience across various fundraising platforms is essential.
  • You should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • You should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Baptist Care SA requires applicants to have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • A full unrestricted South Australia Driver's Licence
  • DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check
  • National Police Clearance
  • Secure Environments for Children and Young People training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work outside normal office hours
  • Travel within South Australia
  • Up-to-date Covid 19 Vaccination status or medical exemption
