A fantastic opportunity has presented itself at nbn, Australia's largest infrastructure project, as the Executive Manager, Data, Risk and Governance, reporting to the General Manager, Safety, Wellbeing, Governance and People & Culture.

A bit about the role

nbn has commenced a transformational journey and many change efforts are required to achieve this transformation over the next few years. One of the transformation changes is to drive data led decision making and to enable this requires a culture of data literacy across our workforce, as well as aligning data management practices to the nbn Data Strategy.

This is a newly created role at nbn, and the objective is to be the trusted advisor, working across People and Culture to drive strategic data initiatives to enable data led decision making by both People & Culture and nbn Leaders in line with nbn's Strategic Objectives and People Strategy.

The role will work closely with internal People and Culture stakeholders, the Chief Data Office and Systems Engineering and Operations to drive the People and Culture Data Strategy and priorities roadmap and may include (but are not exclusive to) governance and decision making, work practices, policies, processes, and the alignment of senior leaders to support the delivery of the strategic roadmap.

The role will also oversee and coordinate the People & Culture business unit operational data reporting and governance requirements for internal and external stakeholders. This role works with a breadth of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that P&C is accountable, manages identified risks as well as ensuring that nan's governance and processes are optimised, compliant and fit for purpose amongst the assigned portfolios.

A bit about you

You will have demonstrated experience in mobilising project teams, planning, driving, and managing resources to effectively deliver project outcomes within a matrix environment.

You will have superior cross functional engagement capabilities, coupled with the ability to influence executive level stakeholders resulting in the successful execution of complex objectives within compressed timeframes.

As a natural strategic enabler with a deep understanding and ability to deliver high impact transformation and change will see you succeed in this role.
