The Merchandise Manager is responsible for maximising profitability by ensuring that they have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time. Looking after both the buying and planning functions this is a key business position responsible for trend forecasting, range planning with elements of product development.

You will be a passionate individual who looks at challenges as an opportunity to develop & will consistently strive for success. Ideally, you have worked within a complex planning environment and will be adaptable to change and a fast-paced environment, start-up environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and manage sales budget, Stock Levels and Gross Profit
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual reports
- Achieve critical financial targets such as sales, GP, stock turn and sell through
- Manage stock levels and implement markdown/discounting activities which maximise our exit position (GP%) to determine seasonal buying and aid marketing activities.
- Manage in-season and post-season performance, to identify best practice, lessons learnt, and improve performance
- Conduct regular detailed analysis of inventory holding and make relevant recommendations on over and understocked situations
- Detailed analysis down to SKU level across brand, category, design, colour and size

**Essential Skills**:

- Demonstrated Retail/Wholesale planning experience for an apparel brand with strong eCommerce experience
- Familiaruty with Cin7, style arcade and shopify is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent computer literacy especially with Excel
- Self-motivated and driven individual
