We support women impacted by Domestic and Family Violence through a holistic, culturally safe approach.Our services include legal representation, client support, financial counselling, community legal education, and law reform.
We are dedicated to enabling, educating, and empowering women to navigate the legal system and respect their rights.Learn more at: the OpportunityWe are seeking a part-time Human Resource Lead (3 days/week), working remotely.
This role reports to the COO and involves delivering comprehensive HR services and ensuring compliance with policies and values.Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and exitProviding HR support with sensitivity and confidentialityAssisting in performance management and training developmentDeveloping and monitoring HR policies for legal complianceMaintaining HR records and preparing reportsAssisting with payroll processesAbout YouApplicants should have a relevant HR qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Human Resources) and at least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
Highly valued skills include:Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and enterprise agreementsExcellent interpersonal skills and handling sensitive informationProactive problem-solving and ability to work independently and in teamsWe seek a professional, initiative-driven team player passionate about creating inclusive HR systems.
