The Opportunity
Join our team as a Graduate Demand Planner and kickstart your career within a global leader in fibre cement building solutions. In this role, you'll support the forecasting of product demand and work alongside experienced planners and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product availability and help meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic and supportive environment. And with structured training and mentoring, this will help you build a strong foundation and grow into a successful supply chain professional.
This role will commence in January 2026.
What You'll Do
Assist in analyzing historical sales data and market trends to support the development of demand forecasts.
Learn and apply basic forecasting techniques and tools under the guidance of senior planners.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to understand factors influencing demand, such as promotions and product launches.
Monitor forecast accuracy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the identification of potential risks and opportunities related to demand variability.
Contribute to inventory planning discussions for new and existing products.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions to gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes.
What you'll bring
A recent Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong Excel skills and an interest in learning forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, ERP systems).
A proactive mindset and a passion for solving problems and improving processes.
