Our Australian portfolio includes Global Brands such asCarolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Penhaligon's.Please note this is a temporary assignment with potential to extend or convert to permanent.The OpportunityAs a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal availability for core products, new launches, and key promotional materials (e.g., testers, samples, and gifts with purchase) to support revenue budget targets.If you enjoy fast-changing environments, problem-solving, and have a passion for demand planning optimization, this role is for you.What you'll get to doDemand Forecasting & Planning:Own the demand planning process to develop, maintain, and continuously improve rolling demand forecastsCapture market Insights, collaborating with the Sales and Marketing teamLead monthly Demand Review processPLCM management: Manage demand planning for product lifecycle events including launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and discontinuationsPOS management: Analyse point-of-sale (POS) data and market trends to adjust forecasts and identify demand patternsCross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Finance to reconcile demand forecasts with revenue plans and budget targetPartner with Supply Planning to ensure optimal inventory levels while maintaining target customer service levelsAct as the primary liaison between headquarters and the local marketLead cross-functional projects to improve forecasting processes, tools, and methodologiesProcess Improvement & AnalyticsDrive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implement best practicesConduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and develop action plans to address performance gapsDevelop and automate demand planning dashboardsSupport implementation of new planning technologies and system upgradesSystems, Performance Management & Analytics:Maintain demand planning data integrity in enterprise systems (SAP IBP)Monitor and report on forecast accuracy metrics (FA/BIAS) and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvementMaintain demand planning KPIs dashboard and provide regular insights to stakeholders on demand performanceUtilise scenario planning and what-if analysis to assess risks and support strategic decision-makingWe'd love to meet you if you have3-5+ years of Demand Planning experience within FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a dynamic supply chain environment.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.Proven track record of managing demand forecasts for complex product portfoliosStrong proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP IBP ideally) and ERP systems (SAP ideally).
